Bay Bank Hires Vice President and Commercial Banking Relationship Manager

Columbia, Md. (October 20, 2015) — Bay Bank, the bank built by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, announced today that Matthew Rickeman has joined Bay Bank as vice president and commercial banking relationship manager.

Rickeman comes to Bay Bank with more than a decade of experience in the banking industry, having held several leadership positions at The Columbia Bank, Carroll Community Bank, Maryland Financial Bank and K Bank. In his new role, he will assist in expanding the bank’s reach into the Baltimore Washington Corridor under the leadership of Richard H. Ohnmacht, who joined Bay Bank as senior vice president and corridor market president this past June. Rickeman’s responsibilities will include developing a market presence and generating commercial loan growth throughout Anne Arundel, Howard, Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties.

This recent hire is the latest in a series of growth announcements from Bay Bank, including expanding its business and commercial banking services, moving its headquarters to Columbia and promoting several staff members throughout the organization.
