With Mobile Deposit you can use the camera on your smartphone or iPad® to deposit checks anywhere, anytime! Simply snap a picture of the front and back of the check and submit the deposit.

To use Mobile Deposit, you must be an Online Banking customer and have downloaded our Mobile Banking app from your app store.

To access Mobile Deposit you must

• Have Bay Bank online banking
• Have a checking, savings or money market account linked to your online banking
• Have an iPhone®, iPad® or Android™ smartphone
• Have internet access on your wireless device

Deposit Limits

Single Check - $5,000

Daily Limit - $10,000

5 Consecutive Multi-Day Limit - $25,000

Daily Limit - 10 checks

5 Consecutive Multi-Day Limit - 50 checks

Deposit Cutoff Time 
7:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Deposits made after the cutoff time or on a Saturday, Sunday, or any day the bank is not open will be considered received on the next business day. Deposits are subject to our standard funds availability policy.

Mobile Deposit Posting 
Unlike ATM or branch deposits, mobile deposits are not displayed as pending transactions in your account balances or transactions. A mobile deposit will be displayed in your account after the bank posts all transactions for that business day.

Security 
By integrating mobile deposit within our mobile banking app, your mobile check deposits are completely secure:

• Mobile banking uses the same login authentication as our Online Banking, including multifactor authentication and encryption.
• Your password and account numbers are not displayed in full.
• Check images and personal information are not stored on your device.

Accessing Mobile Deposit

Mobile Deposit is an integrated feature of the Bay Bank mobile banking app. Simply download the Bay Bank mobile banking app from the iTunes® Store (for iPhone®), or Google Play™ Store (for Android™ smartphone) or iTunes® Store(for iPad®).

Depositing a Check

• Login to the mobile banking app using your Online Banking user ID and Password
• Choose "Check Deposit" from the navigation menu
• Snap a picture of the front and back of the check, making sure the check is endorsed
• Enter the amount of the check
• Select the account to receive the deposit
• Submit the check for deposit

It's that simple!
